About Paula Rakestraw

For as long as I can remember, I've been passionate about supporting children and families.  That same heart for people is what guides me in real estate today!  I know that buying or selling a home isn't just a transaction -- it's a life moment that shapes your family's story.

Over the years, my own journey with homes has been full of experiences.  I've been a renter, I've purchased an existing home, I've rolled up my sleeves to renovate, and I've worked along side my family to build our home.  Each step taught me something new about what it really means to find the right fit - and I love sharing that perspective with the people I serve.

Rockingham County has always been home for me.  I grew up here and have raised 3 beautiful children with my husband.  This community means so much to me and I am honored to now help others put down roots, make memories, and find their own place to call home.
